The screen filters make it look like how I remember it looking as a child when playing in a CRT, and (in my opinion) look better than the internal upscale that you get with emulators (especially for 2D elements like UI which look bad at high resolutions). The 8Bitdo 64 controller took the top spot for me. Recognized as an N64 controller on the Switch, and is the perfect blend of the OG and a modern form factor. Since it's Bluetooth, it also works on PC.

According to the SN30 Pro+ manual, there is no ‘A + Start’ activation mode. Given other 8bitdo devices work with MiSTer via X-input mode (‘X + Start’ on the SN30 Pro+), I would expect the same here. The 8bitdo ones that were released for the analogue feels great in the hands, the buttons feel great, and would be perfect for playing games with a few friends like Mario party or Mario Kart, but any game that requires precision on the analogue stick like Goldeneye or Ocarina of time using the sling

+1 for the 8BitDo 64. Completed Goldeneye 00 Agent with it. Couldn't stand having a second stick in the way complicating things. You have to get used ZR being your emulator option menu but I'm obsessed with it now. I'll play every 64 NSO game now with it.

If you are sensitive to lag and don't mind pressing button combos to switch between controller pak and rumble function, or the fact that the controller is paired with its dongle and cannot be used on anything else than an N64 or a clone of it, then get the 2.4GHz version. Personally, I don't think t
