8BitDo 64 Classic Button Set Released

I’ve been saying all along that they would probably do this because A) they had replacement buttons for their Ultimate controllers and B) there was clear, demonstrated, demand for this more than any other controller. Of course, it didn’t make any sense to release them until the sales of the gray 8Bi

Anyone else waiting for the Analogue 3D? Looking for real reviews and honest opinions

Personally, I love it. The screen filters make it look like how I remember it looking as a child when playing in a CRT, and (in my opinion) look better than the internal upscale that you get with emulators (especially for 2D elements like UI which look bad at high resolutions). I bought the 8BitDo 6

Trying to decide on whether to pul the trigger on the Analogue 3D

-Yes, the output is about on par with the MISTer. Though, to go beyond the presets, you'll have to do the work on your own. -Yes, its very plug n play ready. The only issues I really heard, was the 3D not playing nice with an Everdrive x7. And the constant updates to the OS are very nice, and easy t

Finally… The Nintendo 64 controller for Switch.

The 8Bitdo 64 controller took the top spot for me. Recognized as an N64 controller on the Switch, and is the perfect blend of the OG and a modern form factor. Since it's Bluetooth, it also works on PC.

Anyone know what I'm doing wrong here pairing an 8bitDo controller?

According to the SN30 Pro+ manual, there is no ‘A + Start’ activation mode. Given other 8bitdo devices work with MiSTer via X-input mode (‘X + Start’ on the SN30 Pro+), I would expect the same here. But then there’s the comment that X-input didn’t work for the user above, so I’m not sure what to tel

2.4G 8BitDo N64Controller switch between Rumble and Memory

It works flawlessly with the bluetooth version of the 8bitdo 64 and paired to a retroblue 64 dongle. Here are instructions: On the SummerCart64 press Start button Select "N64 Information" Press the 8BitDo 64 Home Button once -> Controller Pak is Inserted Press the 8BitDo 64 Home Button a second time

8BitDo Retro N64 Side-by-Side

S-Mode is “Switch mode”. Think of it as a controller that speaks Nintendo Switch. Any Switch only controller is “S-Mode” only. D-Mode is Direct Input, a standard used by a lot of devices (just not the Switch). NSO 64 (for Nintendo Switch Online) is only S-Mode (or Switch only). Up until A3D firmware

For those with the Analogue 3d, what’s been your experience with controllers?

The 8bitdo ones that were released for the analogue feels great in the hands, the buttons feel great, and would be perfect for playing games with a few friends like Mario party or Mario Kart, but any game that requires precision on the analogue stick like Goldeneye or Ocarina of time using the sling

All first party controller options to play Game Boy games on NSO - My favourite is the N64 controller! Which do you prefer?

+1 for the 8BitDo 64. Completed Goldeneye 00 Agent with it. Couldn't stand having a second stick in the way complicating things. You have to get used ZR being your emulator option menu but I'm obsessed with it now. I'll play every 64 NSO game now with it.

Why are the Star and Home buttons non-functional on the 8BitDo 64 2.4G controller but functional on the bluetooth version?

If you are sensitive to lag and don't mind pressing button combos to switch between controller pak and rumble function, or the fact that the controller is paired with its dongle and cannot be used on anything else than an N64 or a clone of it, then get the 2.4GHz version. Personally, I don't think t
