Pro 3

I recently bought an 8BitDo Pro 3 and that thing is so freaking good. TMR sticks, a bunch of extra buttons, multiple profiles, swappable ABXY buttons, a nice dock. And all that for just 60€.

Which is especially sad since third party controllers like the 8Bitdo Pro 3 can do this. I am sure this is something that Nintendo deliberately didn't implement / didn't update on the OG pro controller.

Hard disagree. Xbone controller mid. I couldn’t fathom that they didn’t even have gyro sensors in them. I literally returned an Elite controller after like 2 weeks because of how much it just sucked. The Dualsense controller is better in almost every way. My new favorite controller is the 8bitdo Pro

Really not much difference honestly. If you ever crack one open to fix drift the board isn't really any different than a $10 amazon special save for the fancy triggers A $60 8BitDo has years of advancement on a stock PS5 controller. 8bitdo Pro 3 and Ultimate 2 satisfy all those requirements for less than that price. (Well, two of the macro buttons are on the shoulder and 2 are on the back, but I'm not sure how much we're splitting hairs here.)

i really like the 8bitdo pro 3! the size fits my hands really well as i have small hands, and i prefer the playstation layout. tmr joysticks means no stick drift and buttons are magnetic so you can change the face easily btwn xbox and switch layouts, they give blank ones too if you wanna use it for

But isn't the Pro 3 already 3-mode? It has 2.4ghz wifi, bluetooth, and is also capable wired. You can swap the buttons as well for Xbox layout or Switch layout. It has D-input, X-input, and S-input. IMO it's more Ultimate than the actual Ultimate line.

Their lineup is incredibly complex and confusing. Everything has the same name but with different compatibilities. The wireless ones often have Bluetooth, and the Bluetooth ones also have 2.4Ghz, but they are locked to different protocols. It’s like nobody at 8bitdo is aware what other people are do
