My first air purifier for my living room! Help!
I would look into Alen 45i Flex, or units from Winix, Levoit, or Coway. Alens are quiet and good for both VOCs + particulates, with their best filters, and come with a lifetime warranty if you stay in the filter replacement program. (I think 90 bucks every 9 or 12 months, your choice.). However if y

Right now it’s 42 degrees and 40 mph winds and “feels like 26 degrees”. Is this the new normal for Chicago in January?
I got the Alen Breathesmart Flex with the Fresh filter that has the most activated carbon in it. I got this one because it has decent amount of activated carbon in its filter, it was aesthetically pleasing, and I could buy it with FSA money. The other models are more expensive and have things I don’

AirDoctor versus Coway versus Levoit
If you can afford 800 then probably consider AustinAir, people on here seem to hold it in high regard and one of their good units is 750 I think. I could never afford that, and have never had Air Doctor,.so I can't say anything on that. I do love my Levoits but they are good affordable units, that l

Did I buy the wrong air purifier?
I recently purchased 3 different levoit air purifiers from Amazon for my mom's place and they were all horrible. Ive been testing them out for about a month. My allergies became worse. They were also advertising as a true hepa when they are not and they are being sued for that. I went and ordered th

Recommendations for a purifier that will run 24/7
Just purchased a couple Alen Flex machines after loads of research. Didn't feel I needed all the bells and whistles that come with newer models. It is being phased out but uses the same filters as 45i, the lifetime warranty was a big plus.

Do any models <$300 mitigate smells at all?
Just spend another 50 bucks and you can get an Alen Flex. Or a RIA Breezeguard (370) Most normal air purifiers have white filters that filter dust + particles. Odor molecules are different so other methods will be used to capture odors. (I also use moisture bags + have a carbon filter behind box fan

Air purifier for 10x12 nursery
I have the Alen 25i in my office and would also be great for a small nursery. Only 40 db at its highest setting which is great for babies since you want to keep it under 50 db. I also really like how it sounds. A 35i or flex would also be a great choice. I like the flex because it’s a 45i without al

Air Purifier for Odor Removal
Alen Flex is what I got primarily for odors, but it's around 350 range I think. But it has a lifetime warranty you will end up saving money probably as others will break after some years. (Lifetime warranty if you stay in the filter replacement program, you can do I think every 9 or 12 months, and t

I need help finding the right air purifier.
Yes, sleeping next to a litter box seems like a bad idea imo. OP I would also advise to move the litter box as far as possible, then put air purifier between you + the litter box so it sucks up that related air before it gets to you. Maybe even a partition of some sort could help angle air to keep i
