Lightning is USB 2.0. That is enough for hi-res 2-channel audio, all the way up to 24/192 content which Apple supports in Apple Music. If someone could come up with wireless headphones I could use and get surround sound I would never use streaming again. Also not cost an arm and a leg. I can get Dolby Atmos on my AirPod Maxs with my Apple TV. It’s still pretty fucking good and I feel qualified to say that as I was an audio engineer

Which one is better in your opinion? I’m in the Apple ecosystem, iPhone 15 pro max, AirPods Max, Mac , Apple TV, etc.
