Series 5 to Series 11 -> 30 days later -> I'm not impressed

I’m going to get shit on for this but Apple Watches are e-waste. There really hasn’t been any improvements to these in years. I had a series 5 and just got a 11 titanium and tbh other than the brighter bigger screen there’s almost no difference. Sure you get some extra sensors and they act like ther

Should I get a CPAP? AHI is 10.5, but symptoms improved with side sleeping & tongue exercises

Apple Watch won't properly monitor your blood oxygen saturation. I have an AWU2 with the on-watch monitoring before the ban and it is a few times a night. You can buy proper pulseox sensors on amazon that can export their data right in to OSCAR and get the data all night long. You may also want to t

Apple Watch getting worse over time

I also use my AWU2 for sleep analysis, but I use the Apple FOCUS settings to set 1. Do Not Disturb (never dismissed) 2. Sleep (dismissed only upon waking up early). In the FOCUS settings, I only allow certain APPS and CONTACTS to alert, and have NEVER received unwanted alerts (I sleep until noon, so

Is it true the UW 3 cannot continuously track & display my heart rate?

I can testify on this! I wear both the AWU2 and the Enduro 3, and even if I'm trying to leave Garmin completely (because I don't like the way the metrics from sleep are trash and they are used for so many of the analysis done in the app) I just can't use the AWU2 for my ultras. Garmin has me hooked

Only 740 km left until I hit 10,000 K in 2025

Curious if you’re using just heart rate reading from Apple Watch or another monitor in tandem? I often don’t get a good reading at the beginning of a run with AWU2 and titanium band.

Took the plunge, thoughts?

It definitely won’t. You might find other Garmin users who will blow smoke at you but you can look at their track record and make your own judgements for sure. I went with the Venu X1 after trying quite a few different models including Fenix 8, and a Fenix 7 Pro Solar that was on sale at Bass. The X

Deciding to bite the bullet on vertical 2

AWU2: Miss the maps integration when driving (wrist buzz), liked the sleep tracking better, integration with iPhone for daily life (messages etc.) is much better. I never played music through it so missing nothing there. Cons: Had to charge every day. Didn’t make it past 15hrs in 2 ultras starting w

Overnight HRV fluctuations

I don’t find the Apple Watch HRV tracking as consistent as my old Garmin. Garmin my HRV would respond to training pretty much as expected but on AWU2 it’s basically a number generator

AWU 3 disappoints every day I run!

Over 8 years I’ve had four Apple Watches (including an Ultra and Ultra 2), two Garmins, and two Coros, and all of them have given me trouble with HR readings. I’m wearing them correctly, the right tightness and in the right location, but none are 100% reliable and, honestly, the Apple Watches are th
