Bumped into an ASUS rep at a Bestbuy when I was buying my Xbox Ally X and he said ASUS is working on an OLED version right now. Didn’t deter me from scooping it though, what a great handheld.

The ergonomics and hardware are a bit nicer but it’ll perform pretty much the same. If you’re gonna upgrade it should be Z1E or Z2E. I highly recommend the non-Xbox ROG Ally X.

Steamdeck sattım. Rog Xbox ally X aldım. Gaaaayet memnunum. Tek memnun olmadığım nokta ekran pled değil lcd. Ama iyi bir lcd. Ekranın da sevdiğim tarafı var tabi. VRR ekrann. Windows handheld o kadar korkmayın. Yeni Xbox arayuzu ile gayet iyi oldu. Sevmezsen bazzite/steamos kurarsın zaten.

I run bazzite on my OG Rog Ally z1e. I love it feels like a way more powerful steam deck. Customizable, no ads or notifications, sleep/wake is amazing, I have the 74wh battery mod so it lasts a long time. I love HHD

Any accessories included with either? At that price, I’d go with the Z1E, give it to your sister when you upgrade. Recent Ebay sales to compare for Ally X. Unless it’s the Xbox Ally X with the controller-like sides? If there’s no accessories included, I think flat $600 is fair, but still not a steal
