Intel Panther Lake Arc B390 performance and efficiency analysis: Intel's new iGPU trades blows with the Nvidia GeForce RTX 4050
As much as its nice to see it competing with low powered 4050. The 4050 and even full powered 5050 and 5060 laptops are significantly cheaper than the B390 laptops. You can get 5070 to 5070 ti laptops for the price of of laptops using the b390 On Best Buy Dells XPS 14 is 2249 with the X9 388H with 3

I have finally found the ultimate portable gaming experience (the most no one asked review ever)
Ai generated TLDR, after handwriting that entire post I didn’t have it left in me to summarize it as well, hopefully this gets the point across Wanted a portable gaming device to complement a high-end 5090 desktop, mainly for travel and gaming around the house Needed AAA + online games, good perform

Apple's M5 Max in the MacBook Pro 16 is around 15 % faster compared to the MacBook Pro 14
"M5 Max is also close to the mobile RTX 5080 in the ROG Zephyrus G14. In shorter benchmarks like Cinebench 2024 or Geekbench, the performance advantage over the M4 Max is even bigger" "During the stress test, the M5 Max SoC will draw up to 96 Watts in High Power mode, but very quickly drops to just

Smooth Motion in Marathon is actually very good. huge FPS boost
I am on a ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 Gaming Laptop and this changed EVERYTHING. I went from 45 avg and 27 fps lows all the fucking way up to 144 FPS Consistent and at 4K resolution. If you have a gaming laptop or a mobile cpu that bottlenecks your GPU, TURN THIS SHIT ON. It's actually a game changer. and

Asus Rog flow x13 2027
Unlikely I think, Strix Halo on the Z13 and ProArt PX13 performs roughly similar at this power level and we're kind of already at the limit as to what's physically possible in a 13 inch chassis. It probably wouldn't have the XG Mobile port either as Asus has fully committed to USB4 / Thunderbolt for

Mechanical Engineering laptop
for mechanical engineering, the biggest thing you'll want is a dedicated GPU — SolidWorks, ANSYS, and AutoCAD can struggle with integrated graphics, especially once you get into simulations and assemblies. the Acer Aspire 14 Ai is a solid machine but the Core Ultra 200V chips are efficiency-focused,

New Notebook, will cachyOS run on it?
Just download CachyOS ISO, burn it to a USB drive and try it out. I just installed it on my Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 and it ran great, even with its NVIDIA GPU. CachyOS itself is pretty optimized. I got less heat and more stable performance than on Win11. CachyOS even has MangoHUD and Optiscaler instal

My zhephyrus g14 2026 Ultra 9 386H (2.10 GHz) 5070ti impressions
I just wanted to say this was a great post. Namely because you give real world performance examples. The fact that the laptop can put out those graphics and not have to use the barrel charger is impressive. I'm on a 2022 right now and it obviously comes nowhere near that level of power. It also has

2025 g14 or 2026 g14
ngl waiting for the 2026 model in the philippines could mean 3-6 months after us release if not longer. what helped me decide before was looking at the actual performance gains - 2025 to 2026 is mostly incremental cpu updates not huge leaps.
