Disclaimer: I'm not Canadian. I have, however, owned both MSI and Asus ROG gaming laptops. The short version is it really depends on the model, not the brand. Just installed it on my ASUS Zephyrus G16 and surprisingly good functionality out of the box. Had to do a couple tweaks/use a couple of tools for turning off lighting and enabling OLED dimming. Really impressed with it so far. Solid battery life too.

I just got the rog zephyrus g16 with the 5070 in it and this thing is thinner than my wallet lmao. Well not after buying it but you get the point.

Buy a rog zephyrus g16 with a rtx 4060/4070. Don't think that it's rog so it's bulky and only for gaming. Look it up and watch some videos, you'll realise how good and portable it is.
