City Fibre Router suggestions?
I have had a great time with 2 of these https://www.asus.com/uk/networking-iot-servers/wifi-7/all-series/asus-rt-be92u/ Asus rt-be92u . It’s been really stable, great WiFi and after I went wrt based firmware like a decade ago it’s hard to go back to something more restrictive. I use this on gigabit

Which Asus to buy
I have the RT-BE92U and have been really happy with it, besides some issues with early firmware. After the firmware issues were resolved it has been rock solid. Edit to add a few more details. If you can centrally locate the router it may be able provide decent coverage for the entire home. I have a

Should I get a Tri Band router?
I recently upgraded from a RT-AX86U (basically the WiFi 6 version of your router), and I purchased 2 x RT-BE92U, one as a router and one configured as a separate access point. The primary reason for the upgrade was to get access to the 6GHz band for a Quest 3 VR headset. Playing PCVR games via WiFi

Quantum Fiber Mesh
I think the Asus systems, zenwifi bt10 as well as the netgear orbi 770 (this one has a subscription). I have used asus routers in my house, so I used their software to create a mesh system as i upgraded, my main is be98pro, with nodes of be92u and a gtax11000. If you can wire your backhaul, then you

Napr. WiFi 7 a 6 GHz band je kapitola sama o sebe. Orange to bude dávať do routerov zrejme

ASUS RT-BE92U 1 Year On
I did a post about the Asus RT-BE92U moaning about the instability on this sub. I still have it and use Asus WRT. The instability issues seem to be fine now after 2 firmware updates. The firmware notes were to fix these issues. I only run 2.4 and 5 bands, so I don't know if it might have issues with

The current state of MLO implementation for consumer Wi-Fi 7 router -> They all have the most basic implementation required!
Exactly what you said. I needed to replace my mom's ol' faithful Apple AirPort Extreme 6gen routers when the fan started sounding like a jet crashing; so I went with another stable ASUS RT-BE86U Wifi7 dual-band units. The BE92U units have tons of bad reviews due to firmware - which most likely have

Need a new router which one?
I just installed the Asus BE9700 (RT-BE92U) Tri-band and split all the networks. The GUI has options that are endless. You would be impressed... 2500 SF As with any new unit. Update firmware first.

TP-link be9300 vs. ASUS rt-be92u be9700. Which is better?
The Asus RT-BE92U has had some bad firmware the past several months, but looks like the newest firmware release (earlier this week) may have fixed some of the problems. This router also supports Merlin firmware (which is a nice alternative and often works better and is more reliable than ASUS’s stoc
