TUF Gaming A16

Cool! It's not great on my asus tuf a16 laptop :/ I had a better experience on my old msi with a 1660. Asusctl wont turn on the backlighting on my keyboard, my mouse stutters on the desktop but works fine in games, I think the performance settings and fan curve editor are borked because I can't get

They fell off, when I opened my tuf a16 for the first time I realised how softly ASUS tightens them, a nick is enough to make them loose and then, well, they fall off

And this one exists. Which one is better? I'm a university student and I want something long-term.
