ASUS zenbook s14 OLED (32GB)

Ja sam kupio ASUS Zenbook 14 OLED (UX3405) pre jedno godinu dana. Kvalitet je top, baterija sljaka oko 5-6 sati. Nazalost ne koristim ga tako cesto jer imam i desktop ali za sada nemam problema sa burn in. Sto se tice programiranja sljakace ti top, mozes i koj vm da podignes. Linux radi top, jedino

Looking for a 13"/14" laptop <= 1.2 kg (<= 2.7 lb). Any hints?

I'd look at the ASUS Zenbook S14 UX5406SA. It is slightly heavier at 1.2 kg, but otherwise it offers solid Linux support and meets all of your requirements. It uses an Intel Lunar lake (Core Ultra 7 258v) chip for excellent efficiency and graphics performance, so it'll provide far more than 4-6 hour

Is this normal?

It's a Asus ZenBook 14 Oled, it is not a Thinkpad but other than the touchpad which needed a driver from asus. From what i could find CachyOS has a partnership with asus, so until now everything is good although i only have the laptop for about 3 weeks

Moved to Fedora 43 KDE 2 weeks ago and loving it!

I have an Asus Zenbook 14 Oled. I found Fedora Workstation to work better than KDE. Also less crashes.

Why no one mentions the ZenBook 14 OLED?

Bought the zenbook 14 (non oled) for 700 euros and im so happy with, fast (this is relative ofc, but basic programming and even things like photoshop or editing works very nice), nice display, in my opinion very nice build quality and even a very good battery atleast i never had a day of school and

Laptop Advice for Comp Chem PhD

Have you considered a dual boot system with a simple Linux distribution like Arch? In my experience it takes up no more than 4GB at idle. Of course, the M4, M5, and M1 are all very respectable laptops with incredible battery life and performance so upgrading could be a better choice however you ment

Asus ZenBook 14 OLED (UX3405) Compatibility

ASUS ZENBOOK 14 OLED UM3406KA full AMD here : on CachyOS with many tweaks, Gnome DE, 30% screen brightness, CPU profile set to balanced_performance, and Firefox with many tabs (but helped by Auto Tab Discard extension), my battery last about 12 hours : the watt usage is about 5/6 watts right now, an

Looking for a lightweight Linux laptop

ASUS is worth checking out. I began my Linux journey six months ago on an ASUS Vivobook S 14 (S5406SA), which ran Fedora flawlessly. It’s powered by an Intel Lunar Lake chip, delivering excellent battery life and barely any fan noise. For a bit more performance than Lunar Lake, I’ve heard the ASUS Z
