Audeze Maxwell 1 Firmware Downgrade Tool
Damn, awesome work. It's really sad to see Audeze just abandoning the Maxwell 1 owners in favor of the Maxwell 2, but you just made the day of many people here. Congrats.

How are the Maxwells 2 lately?
There is a white noise when your headset is turned on when no media is playing (standing by) but is not a dislike for me. Connectivity is great, faced no issues so far. I use them for PC and Xbox Also when you get your fresh pair out of the box, I recommend plugging them to PC and update the firmwar

M1 Vs. M2 concerns
As I recall, the Maxwell originally used a different software which has been replaced, so if you're still using the older Audeze HQ you'll need the new software on your computer. Both your Maxwell 1 and 2 will work with it. As people have said, you don't have to update your Maxwell 1 drivers if you

Audeze Maxwell 1 Firmware Downgrade Tool
I won't be posting this tool publicly to avoid Audeze finding a way to block this method Eh, it's not like Audeze can sneakily change controller in all Maxwell 1 units in existence, and if they wanted to, or even could, prevent rollbacks on firmware level, they would have done that already. Not to m

Can't decide between Maxwell 2 or HDB 630.
Did you manual eq the Maxwell at all or just use the immersive preset? My Maxwell 1 is one of the bassiest headphones I’ve ever heard when eq’d and I’ve had all the gaming headsets as well as quite a few audiophile headphones. You can see the eqs in the app and immersive bass is set at like 2 out of

M1 Vs. M2 concerns
Even for music, I think the Maxwell 2’s have their own thing going for them. Yes, the sub bass isn’t quite as punchy as the 1’s, even after EQ, but they have a wider presence. It’s pretty cool how they’re truly closed back but have a bit of an open back flare to them. It’s very enjoyable. I’ve come

help! Just a non gamer wife looking for the perfect gift
The Audeze Maxwell 2 is the best PS5 headset we've tested. The PlayStation variant enables access to Sony's Tempest 3D audio for virtual surround sound on PS5. This headset has a balanced sound profile on its default EQ preset. The bass range delivers enough punch and warmth to make sound effects li

Experience with the Audeze Maxwell
Nova Pro Wired is an OK headset. Wireless is the same but loses some volume due to it being used as wireless. It has the best feature set (like simultaneous BT) and some people like the EQ profiles that Sonar provides. However, when I tried those EQ profiles they were too sharp and treble heavy for

Looking for Sonar Game Profiles for Arctis Nova Elite
I was massively disappointed with the Elites. The fact the just expect you to open Sonar or the companion app and use a preset that’s been tuned for the Nova 5 £100 headset, and expect it to work fine with pleather pads, a completely different stock tuning and carbon fibre drivers, is hilariously ba
