Whats better for music productions Audio-Technica ath-m50x or sony mdr 7506

I'd actually highly recommend the ATH-M40x headphones. They have a much more even and flat response and are much better for music production. The ATH-M50x's are more for tracking and listening to music as a consumer. I find the Sony MDR-7506's to be harsh and lack low end. The Sony MDR-7506's are te

Get what you pay for I guess

Strangely ive never had this issue before, ive had them sound tinny or underwater but only in both ears. Usually the cheap ones, and ones that have been abused by dropping them or getting too dirty will have this effect, hense why i stopped wearing airpods. For 175 you can get the shokz openair 2, t

Why is everything so fragile?

I have a pair of AudioTechnica ATH-M40x's and they've lasted for six years already. The only major issue with them right now is that the leather ear cups are starting to fray, but I can easily get replacements and fix that. My Sony WH-1000XM5 are also holding up well for almost three years of use.

Which headphones should I buy?

I've had a good experience with Audio Technica ATH-M40x from 10 years ago. They have a fairly flat response and full range. I'm not sure if anything has changed in current models. They are around $100.

$200 budget: studio monitors or headphones for beatmaking & mixing in a home studio?

Get the Audio Technica ATH-M40x’s and call it a day. Studio monitors are great, but you also need an audio interface to get them connected to your PC, and then you’ll likely want a subwoofer. Then you need the cables to connect everything. Getting all of that together is going to easily push you ove

Best speakers for learning by ear

Audio-Technica ATH-M40x headphones might be better than speakers for ear training since you can really isolate individual instruments in the mix. Got mine for like $100 and they've been solid for picking apart guitar parts - way easier than trying to hear everything through speakers when you're in a
