Good Battlestation Speaker rec?
These are a bit more high-ticket so they may be out of your intended price range, but I really love my Audioengine A2+ speakers. It's the first set of desktop speakers I've owned where they didn't just sound "okay", they sound really really good and they're one of my favorite ways to listen to music

DIY Speaker Mount on Monitor: No Screws
Yeah they are often touted as the best in their price range, but when everything in that price range sucks anyway, I guess you have no choice. My first speakers were the creative pebble+ (the version that came with a sub) and it served me well enough until I got a used set of audioengine a2+ with an

Building the dream setup, one piece at a time. Swipe for the final look! Rate the setup out of 10.
Edifier R1280T's are cheap but kinda tinny, Audioengine A2+ if you actually want them to sound decent.

I am very close to buying a Leviathan v2 because of its price right now. Is there any speaker that can beat this one?
I just got the Edifier MR4 for 1,900 on Shopee special. Ideally I want some Audioengine A2+ (13K) but my cans just gave up the ghost so I need something neutral for monitoring right now and well less than 2K was a no-brainer. Should be in the post today or tomorrow so if you aren't in a rush I can t

Is subwoofer necessary?
As someone who just got a sub to pair with my Audioengine A2+, I'd say its very much worth it to get one for a stereo set up. Music now sounds much more complete and fuller and more real. I guess it also depends which speakers you have as the ones I have really can't dig deep so a sub most definitel

I nearly cried yesterday i finally “get” what yall talking about
Option One: WiiM Amp plus used PSB Alpha B1 speakers (eBay). Option Two: WiiM Ultra streamer/DAC plus AudioEngine A2+ active speakers. These are both streaming systems. Use Tidal, Spotify, or Qobuz Connect. This allows you to stream lossless (CD quality or better) using a mobile phone to control the

My 23 year old speakers need replacement. What are yall running?
Audioengine A2+, great little speakers, a bit pricey but they should last a long time.

Kanto Ora, Kanto Ora4 or am I looking for other options?
I use B&W MM-1 as they are now 125GBP second hand. Kef Egg (active speaker versions) are also now relatively cheap on eBay. Adam Audio D3V, Audioengine A2+ wireless for lower costs, Adam Audio T5V, Kanto Yu4, Ruark Audio MR1 MKII for higher
