Virtuoso+

Friend, I had this machine (plus version ) it's nice latte machine - with espresso grade grinder you can absolutelly choke it with no problem. If you can not make it 30 second - it's grinder issue. Grind is only thing that caps your lower pressure in this class of machine. It has OPV for upper limit

I have the ESP Virtuoso + It’s 12 ish years old. When it stoped grinding I sent it back to Baratza and for something like 60$ they nearly completely rebuilt it. From expresso grind to French press thing is a joy to use!!

This post is a bit old. Seems like this machine will do a pre infusion no matter what, but you can extend the pre infusion by 1 or 2 seconds.
