DT 700 Pro X's are a timebomb
I’ve been using my DT 700 Pro X's since April 2022 and I don’t have any of these cracks. However I’m also on my third headband. DT 770 Pro X or DT 700 Pro X
The headband thing on the 700 was a design defect that Beyerdynamic found and fixed after about a year of selling the headphones. They haven't fixed anything. Even the new version doesn't last much longer. I'm already on my third replacement headband for my three year old DT900 Pro X.

Cracked headband - DT 900 Pro X
Is normal. The dt 900 pro x and the 700 pro x have these problems. Beyerdynamic is aware of this and that's why there is a whole interchangeable case just for these headphones

I got dt 700 pro x and the first headband lasted a month, and now the one i got replaced is only holding together because i had to superglue it to hold it together.
