"I dont like pads on Nova Pros so Im gonna buy new headphones!" Just buy better pads 😭 And one more thing: if your ears didn't fit well in the Audeze Maxwell earcups, just know that headphones with round earcups (like dt770) aren't for you

The Sennheiser HD 650/HD 6XX are very durable headphones. And unlike the DT 770, they come with replaceable headphone cables. With the DT770, if you break the cable you got to get out the soldering iron. So no. I absolutely would not recommend the DT 770 over the HD 650/6XX for durability reasons.

Yeah I'm in the same situation. I wanted to get the new dt 770 pro x with a removable cable but this whole pro x line is so fragile with the headband and the cracks near the cable connector. Now I'm considering either the old dt 770 pro or hd560s. I'd get the hd560s but idk never had open backs and

I bought a second pair of DT 770 Pro X - 48 Ohm and there is such cracking in right cup (not left like in yours). This is not normal I think and some issue.
