Living out side of the us, a Kindle is not recommend if you want to use your local library it will not work. Kindle and kobo are about the same, they limit you to only one book store. You can side load books on both devices, but it requires a seperate computer and a little knowledge. A android eread

Boox VS. Bigme. Which is better?

This was something I weighed recently, trying to decide between Boox Go 7 and Bigme B7 - the Bigme devices sound very good on paper, but Boox seems to be a more common/mainstream brand. I ended up with the Boox - mostly because from what I could gather, it’s just more established and more polished i

Just received my Boox GoColor 7 Gen 2 yesterday and already want to return it - is there any way to fix this level of ghosting?

and then you refresh and it's gone. the only devices that clear ghosting like this are going to be devices with BSR like the Palma 2 Pro, Note Air 3/4/5C, or Bigme B7 Pro (using Bigme's SSS which is the same type of tech). all of those will typically have worse battery life because quick-clean tech

Kindle vs Kobo (first e-reader, huge EPUB library, help me decide 😩)

I have a Bigme B7 and absolutely love it, but if you are exclusively reading novels I would say to just stick with b&w for now. The trade off with color eink isn't as huge as people make it seem on here, but if you're not going to use it then it may be worth getting the clearest display you can by o

You can watch video on an e-reader

Yes, sometimes I take a break from reading and open YouTube on my BigMe B7 to look at a video about how the sky looks like on other planets, then I get back to reading. Its nice to be able to do so, but it consumes a lot of battery

Confused about what to buy

I would suggest buying a 6 or 7 inch ereader for reading books only. And buy a led tablet for school, while a ereader is great for reading they suck as a tablet. For school you really need a 10-inch or larger and they start around $500 for one with a frontlight. Plus large ereaders are fragile (so a

Looking for Android E-Reader

Boox go 7 or bigme b7. They will both suit your needs. The boox is better for pdf and note-taking. The bigme has more 2x the memory, camera, built in gps, cellphone, more fps, better ghosting. For me they are both too small for comics and manga, but they are the same size of a kindle ppw. I went wit

Help finding a cost effective Ereader for someone in Apple ecosystem with a whole Kindle library.

The nexpaper is still a led screen like ipad. It has a simulated e ink screen that's supposed to be better than a led traditional scree, but it's not going to be as good as an e ink screen. However, it's going to be better at color than an e ink screen. It's is android and you can download the Kindl

What should I get?

Few questions to help get it correct - Does she mostly read books? Or does she also read comics and manga - for books I’d get a black and white (monochrome) device as the screen is more crisp and brighter but if reads a lot of comics and manga get colour (based on the colour eink technology currentl
