Kobo or Boox: Which did you choose? FAQ feedback appreciated.
If you want to run any app what is out there, get an Android e-reader. Makes it can be a Kindle, Pocketbook, Kobo, Libby (using all accounts), it can be whatever you want including Koreader + no need to make file conversions. And it handles PDF files like a dream. Also comics and manga will be way s

[PSA] Firmware 5.19.X Possibly Unjailbreakable (For Like, Really Long)
This is why I've bought a Bigme B7 Pro. It has none of the Kindle limitations and Android allows me to use the Kindle and Nook Apps for the ebooks I do have in those formats. The added plus is being able to use the Olive Tree Bible Reader App for church use and private reading. Even a jailbroke Kind

first e-reader for anti-amazon Libby reader?
Second this. I recently got a Bigme B7, and while getting it setup to my liking took an hour or so (in part because I like to tinker) the freedom of Android with the bonus of expandable storage are awesome!I have so many books, access to Libby, my choice of several ereading apps, and love how I can

Help me avoid buyers remorse, please!
Living out side of the us, a Kindle is not recommend if you want to use your local library it will not work. Kindle and kobo are about the same, they limit you to only one book store. You can side load books on both devices, but it requires a seperate computer and a little knowledge. A android eread

Boox VS. Bigme. Which is better?
This was something I weighed recently, trying to decide between Boox Go 7 and Bigme B7 - the Bigme devices sound very good on paper, but Boox seems to be a more common/mainstream brand. I ended up with the Boox - mostly because from what I could gather, it’s just more established and more polished i

Help picking
First off, don't give up so easily. You paid for something and you didn't get it. Where's the proof that it was delivered to you?? Did someone sign for it? Did the delivery driver take a pic of where they left the damn thing? Unless the delivery happened a long time ago you should get your money bac

Done with Amazon Kindle
Boox go 7 and bigme b7 are good choices. They are android 13,14. So you can download any book site you want. In six inch there the bigme b6 it's android 14. They still sell a lot of android 11 devices, although they still work. android is now up to android 16, and android 11 is no longer supported.

l'm relatively new to e-readers, but I’ve always been a borderline bookworm. I read a lot tons of filming watching and TV series visited the libraries often when I was younger, to manage the budget for entertainment of course and had a decent physical book collection. I started downsizing it in my 3

Kobo vs Kindle vs Bigme
It all depends on what you want. Do you want to just read and sideload books? Kindle or Kobo. Do you want to add apps and download stuff and have tablet capabilities on eink? Android based then. I have one kindle ppw 11th gen and I loved it. Still have it. But I wouldn't buy it today because I'm mor
