Made a video on my experience with the Minimal Phone if you're contemplating buying.

After seeing countless reactions to the MP01, so much of the user's feelings toward the device are dependent on their expectations going in and what they hope to use the device for. 1st - Minimal Phone uses a generic e-paper panel, not the proprietary (and more costly) e-ink. It is lower quality tha

My experience using the Hibreak Pro Color (2 weeks and counting)

Same here, writing from my Bigme HiBreak Pro BW as a daily driver. Love it. I can't use modern screens because of blue light, flickering and dithering.

Making do

The Palma 2 Pro feels more polished and reading-oriented with a color screen and stylus support, while the HiBreak Pro line is more versatile as a phone plus reader hybrid. If reading and annotations are your priority, Palma 2 Pro edges ahead. If you want full daily-phone capability in an E Ink devi

Which E-Ink Phone should i buy? (Advice wanted)

Bigme Hibreak Pro. I've had it a year, it works great (there were a lot of bugs in the beginning, but not anymore), it does everything a regular smartphone does but without being distracting. It's also a great e-reader and easy on the eyes. I prefer the b&w over the color because the screen is nicer

My post-TCL NXTPAPER Android Downgrade

I also was unaware on differences between B&W eink dispkays before I bought Dasung 25,4". I replaced for Bigme colour e-ink with other reddit user. Colour e-ink have less bright white for my sensitive eyes. Regarding HiBreak pro - it is as it is. I dont really care if it works. My eyes thanks me, an

How many of you use an E-ink phone?

I use the Bigme HiBreak Pro as my daily driver. I used the black and white version for 6 months and upgraded to the color version in December. Sure, it's slower than an iPhone, it has little glitches here and there which are annoying, but overall, it works perfectly fine. I do everything on it, soci

Android vs non-Android e-reader?

Regarding Kindle books, I use a Kindle and Bigme HiBreak Pro (my smartphone as well). The android kindle app isn't as optimized as the kindle device is, page turning is slower and not optimized for eInk, that being said it's still usable. Every android app is different though, no reason why you coul

1 month with TCL NXTPAPER 60 ULTRA, my experience

I received the device today with great anticipation and was amazed at how huge it is, but I didn’t care about that as long as I could use a proper smartphone again. Unfortunately, after five minutes I started getting headaches. I’m sending the device back and will have to stick with my Bigme HiBreak

Iphone 11 and SE2022 brainfog?

SE2022 brainfog? I can only use it for short periods. What's alright for me is HTC M8, which is a really old LCD which regretfully no longer works. I wish they made displays like that again. And my BigMe HiBreak Pro works fine for not getting symptoms, but it's eink so ain't snappy and fast.

Is bigme b6 bad as everyone says it is

I don't have the B6, but I do have other Bigme devices (Hibreak Pro, B751C, B751, B7, B7 Pro). Here's my take on it: The hardware and firmware are excellent, but the user software isn't. However, there's the Google Play Store, which offers apps that are far better than anything the various manufactu
