Video Doorbell

Well damn I wish I'd heard about this before I got my blink doorbell. Google says they're a part of Anker, which is a brand I really like too. The blink subscription is $15/month and I'm not really impressed with the camera or sound quality.

My apartment is on the second floor, and is an external door. My plan is to go to the front office once it opens to see if the have any security cameras that might have caught it, which hopefully is the case. My blink doorbell and cameras send me "videos" like this sometimes. Just a few still frames that are spaced out over a long time, sometimes hours. Blink is exceptionally buggy when it comes to the automated recording.

I wanna add to this. I pay for extremely fast internet and it’s never slow. When I too had a subscription, loading the live view was incredibly fast. I got a pair of C217 360° and the basic model beats the pogees out of the Blinks I have at a fraction of the price. And none of the Amazon BS. So all the Blinks are going up for sale so I can buy more Tapo. I don't like the doorbell. Gonna go UniFi on that.

Ya, we've had several same experiences. These cameras are motion sensitive and so many factors affect them, delta or difference in temperatures probably main shortcoming. I have had Blink for years and they help but ya, the couple times anything happened, they just aren't reliable. We bought a Reoli
