My neighbor has been leaving notes on my door for 6 months about my "aggressive dog." My dog died 8 months ago.
Well damn I wish I'd heard about this before I got my blink doorbell. Google says they're a part of Anker, which is a brand I really like too. The blink subscription is $15/month and I'm not really impressed with the camera or sound quality.

Someone just tried to get into my apartment
My apartment is on the second floor, and is an external door. My plan is to go to the front office once it opens to see if the have any security cameras that might have caught it, which hopefully is the case. I have a blink doorbell camera, but the battery ran out a few days ago so it unfortunately

Amazingly... odd
My blink doorbell and cameras send me "videos" like this sometimes. Just a few still frames that are spaced out over a long time, sometimes hours. Blink is exceptionally buggy when it comes to the automated recording.

Cancelled subscription - now awful?
I wanna add to this. I pay for extremely fast internet and it’s never slow. When I too had a subscription, loading the live view was incredibly fast. I also did the same thing recently and went to local storage and canceled the subscription, and it takes a minute 30 to load live view. When someone r

Looking for new cameras
If Ring and Blink are both already missing motion for you, I’d probably stop trying to make that combo work and just move on. Your real checklist sounds like: wired power existing chime support no subscription if possible faster/more reliable motion capture one app that doesn’t suck That’s honestly

Difference Between Sync Modules
My uncle purchased the blink doorbell with the sink device that goes to the cloud which doesn’t make any sense because it already went to the cloud without the sync device and now it won’t connect to his sync module two it after the trial period was over it now will not record any video even though

A fun little loophole
My doorbell and all my cameras (mini 2, XT2 and outdoor 4) have all stopped recording videos since the last 2 weeks. I get notifications but no videos get recorded, weird thing is I can live view and save the video from that. I have a grandfathered account, not sure if they did something, but their

Purchased Doorbell and surprised by quality. What camera would you recommend for home security?
I got a pair of C217 360° and the basic model beats the pogees out of the Blinks I have at a fraction of the price. And none of the Amazon BS. So all the Blinks are going up for sale so I can buy more Tapo. I don't like the doorbell. Gonna go UniFi on that.

It finally happened 😭💔
Ya, we've had several same experiences. These cameras are motion sensitive and so many factors affect them, delta or difference in temperatures probably main shortcoming. I have had Blink for years and they help but ya, the couple times anything happened, they just aren't reliable. We bought a Reoli
