Breville Espresso machine comparison table/chart I made to compare all models on all of their specs & features!
One feature I think you should include, though Breville's documentation doesn't make this easy, is whether or not the steam wand on a unit is insulated. It's a significant quality of life feature as it prevents foam from cooking onto the wand during foaming which is particularly hard to clean off of

I have a Sage Barista Express Impress that also spit like yours doing. I changed the grouphead gasket steam ring and it did't stop. Like i said, the niche is a sidegrade over the integrated grinder. It's weak at light roasts and fine grinds, and accordingly to a commenter here, coarse grinds as well. It's a fantastic bit of kit for dark roasts, and moka, and french press, yeah, but that's about it ... Once you want medium light
