Still under warranty, think I'll get a new printer or just new parts for the printer?

My K1Max drilled a square in my plate at the start of a gridfiinty bin print. Luckily I stopped it doing what happened to yours. Also under warranty. Last I heard from Creality was they will replace the "strain gauge and adjustment plate". Not the build plate though as it is older than 3 months and

Second printbed damaged exactly the same way

This happened to me too. I started a print, then canceled the print before it finished calibrating. Made a minor change and sent the new job to print and it damaged my plate exactly as in OP's photo. Thought it was a random failure and stopped using the printer until I got a replacement plate. Happe

Should I get a new bed?

That doesn’t look bad at all, but these beds warp differently depending on the temperature. Because of this, the factory bed leveling doesn’t work properly. If you hven’t already, root the printer and you can level the bed at the temperatures you are actually printing, use kamp and you shouldn’t hav

Creality k1 klipper 0.13

So 0.13 klipper still has not merged the final pieces of the load cells stuff, even when it does it wont matter because the load cells stuff requires scipy which is not available for the k1 series at all. There is a hardware mod and a klipper fork you can use to try and use the load cells with open

Still under warranty, think I'll get a new printer or just new parts for the printer?

My machine is only 7 months old. I still want to get my >£500 worth of use out of it. When it starts costing unreasonable amounts of money to use, I will leave the Creality world. I've done my "apprenticeship" for years with a 3v2. I had a warranty claim with that and Creality were amazing. The K1Ma

Bed mesh good, but first layer is still terrible on my K1 Max.

I have a K1 Max with CFS. Gaining root access doesn’t mess up the CFS. I have Fluidd and KAMP installed. I have the same first layer issues as you with PETG. It was all fine until I upgraded to the .34 firmware. For the time being I’ve stopped using the printer. I’ve got some cleaning filament I’m g

Little green check box on the screen that pops up when you hit Send Print. Same screen you will select the printer and your color with a CFS, little button says Calibration. When checked it will do a bed level calibration at the specified temp for the filament. Don't use the Generic setting for any

3D Printer Buyers Nightmare

Since he hasn't replied, allow me. I have a K1 max. It's a pile of junk. If you need convincing, google creality first layer problems. The stock bed is pretty much trash. My lead screws are already worn with less than 100 hours. Ringing. VFAs. The works. I spend more time fixing it than using it.

EDDY-NG

It seems that the bed levelling correction on the K1 MAX isn’t working at all. I tried desperately to fix it by sticking aluminium tape to the plate and turning the knobs, but none of that had any effect. Why on earth is Creality leaving this unresolved? I simply cannot understand it. In any case, I

New A1 model?

It's a mixed bag. On paper the Sparkx i7 does have a lot of advantages over the A1. Larger build area, usable camera (60fps), open source klipper firmware, etc.. The issues with Creality printers in general is they have a poor out of box experience. A lot of users experience QA issues that have to b
