Please help recommend a printer for a newbie

Love my A1. Yes it's a closed ecosystem, but so is Apple, and the iPhone is doing just fine. The A1 is an unbox, auto calibrate and start printing printer. I get why people don't like the company, but their printers just work. I also have an H2D and a Creality K1 Max. I don't even use the K1 much an

Call me a Bambu glazer but..

Coming out a a Creality k1 max I picked up an a1 mini from a friend as I wanted to see if it was as good as people make them out to be. Yep. I have a P2S and it’s a great machine. To be fair I also have a Core One which has been great as well. The amount of hours I wasted on troubleshooting that Cre

I absolutely HATE my Creality K1 Max.

I can see why you have frustrations. Both my K1M’s had 2k+ print hours before I started modding them. Tuning took a while on them before modding, but once dialed in - print results were great. Modding is a black hole that I may never climb out of - I’ve tried 6-7 different hotends, BCJ linear rail s

Idiot! I can't believe I wasted a year on this!!!

Welcome welcome! I, too, am an Ender 3 survivor. While the experience of building it and dealing with all the fiddley settings was valuable, I can say that I have had my Bambu X1C for a year now and only now is it politely asking me to perform maintenance on it. And it still works better than my Cre

I love my CC but...

Yeah giga is a bit too big for my needs. Also from what I've seen it's not a great machine overall. I've had some old creality machines in the past and just got a K1 max which has been giving non stop problems since buying it so I was looking into some other options. The CC has been very reliable so

Recs on buying 5-10 of the most "quiet", reliable, enclosed, beginner friendly 3-d printer above 280x280x280mm build volume. Please NO Bambu. $3000 budget total. Single color ok! PLA preferred. Not interested in printing other materials.

For less than $3,000 you can get an H2C and ams which is an awesome dual nozzle printer or an H2S for single color but hey you said no Bambu so just get yourself Qidi Q2. I don’t know what you have against Bambu but the H2S is your best choice for a large build volume that is quieter with the that s

K2 Pro with CFS vs other options in this range, which direction makes more sense?

My opinion is to look elsewhere. Creality QC is not the best. I had the older k1 max and it was a lot of problems.

Planning on building the MTU by 737diysim

If you decide for a bigger printer, do not, I repeat: DO NOT buy a creality K1 Max. I did for exactly this project (I also bought the STLs). The K1Max is a really problematic device. All the best for your project

3D Printer Buyers Nightmare

Since he hasn't replied, allow me. I have a K1 max. It's a pile of junk. If you need convincing, google creality first layer problems. The stock bed is pretty much trash. My lead screws are already worn with less than 100 hours. Ringing. VFAs. The works. I spend more time fixing it than using it.

Thinking of P2S but scared of what I'm hearing

I got the P2S combo in addition to a K1 max from Creality. It’s a good printer if it’s run (the K1 max) but I needed so often to replace things or manually adjust because they are bad produced that I decided to get a P2S to get things running even when I maintain the K1 max. I got now 900hr since No
