IMO Creality's reputation is overblown and outdated. I've been pretty happy with all the K - series printers I've used. (K1, K1 Max, K2 Plus). The k2 is a solid machine unfortunately the firmware hasn't been made public yet, if you're coming from the ender have a look at the k1 I have both and as great as the k2 is having the simplicity of the creality helper script on the k1 just makes setup and using orca so much easier.

Yeah, something like the Qidi max4 has a larger build volume and basically all the same features. The Creality K2 plus is also pretty decent although many people swear off the brand.
