Newbie Here ... friend selling his son's CR-10 for less than $100 .. worth it or should I skip to a newer printer?
I don't think anyone can answer this one for you. You need to ask yourself why you want to start printing. There are pros and cons to consider. Putting a CR-10 against any of these is like Putting a 1995 Honda Civic against a 2025 Tesla. I learned printing on ender 3s and cr10s.. Compared to the new

Upgrading after 5 years with an Ender 3 V2: Should I get the Ender 3 V3 SE or make the jump to Bambu Lab?
I started printing in February with an Ender 3 V3 SE. I was instantly hooked. I lasted about 3 weeks and I got a K2 pro combo. I absolutely love both machines. And a lot of people trash Creality, but I think they are great! Since you already know how Creality works and if you like the tunability, I'

X2D or H2D?
Here’s another print from my X2D. (I gave to my kids teacher as they were studying the space race). These prints were done with some pretty cheap filament with absolutely zero fine tuning. The aux nozzle just saved so much time compared to a regular single nozzle. Don’t get me wrong, the H2D would b

Does a modified U1 still make sense for my use case?
I understand your concerns. I’ve also seen complaints about Creality printers on Reddit, but I think they’re mostly coming from first-time users with limited experience. I can only speak from my own experience, which has been positive. I’ve owned several Creality printers, and thankfully, I haven’t

New K2 or not?
Yeah I couldn't even find a filament profile for elegoo filament in orca until one of the most recent updates. I don't own a k2 but I can honestly say u don't really hear many bad storys with the k2 series compared to crealitys normal "release early and have the users find the flaws logic lol". I ow

Should I lubricate the x rails?
Straight out of the manual for K1C (also the same for all K1 series). YES, lubricate but use a thermal resistant grease as it is less likely to liquify and drip. I run 10 K1 series printers, a few K2 Plus, some Prusa C1+, and a few bed slingers. Most run 20 hours a day and are turned off Sunday to b

Any Creality K2 regular version owners here, how has it been working for you
I bought the K2 Combo as a backup to my K2Plus Combo (Figuring that some day I might try to print something with eight colors, but in reality I will never do that). I'm extremely happy with it. Perfect prints every time with the little guy. I fiddle with the K2Plus a lot more. Once I got my custom P

Starter printer
I currently own 3 Creality machines and honestly I’ve had a very good experience overall. My Ender 3 V3 KE has been running without a single real issue since day one, and my Spark i7 has also been extremely reliable so far — basically unboxed it and just started printing. The only machine that gave

Calling all Bambu X2D/H2D/H2C owners:
I think the whole BL / AGPL debate is more nuanced than people make it out to be. As someone who has worked around CNC and industrial machinery for over 20 years, and who owns/repairs multiple Creality machines (K2 Plus, Ender 3 V3 KE, SparkX i7), I absolutely understand why open-source and repairab
