Need help choosing ssd

You could return it and get an even faster 2TB NVMe for less: https://pcpartpicker.com/product/7m2j4D/crucial-t710-2-tb-m2-2280-pcie-50-x4-nvme-solid-state-drive-ct2000t710ssd8 But no, you won't really notice a difference between then SN770 and 990 Pro, you'd only notice if you constantly moved a lo

Hi guys help me I'm new idk how to build a PC

I would update the SSD to a Gen5 NVMe, Samsung 9100 Pro, Crucial T710, or WD_Black. Take advantage of those Gen5 speeds.

Help Me Out with a flagship build

Dont think you need 10K for that, half is going to get you a monster machine already. No real meaningful upgrades after that. The microcenter bundle deals for the 9950x3d are very good, but come with 32GB ram. But you can probably strike a good deal with them for a set with 128GB CPU: AMD 9950x3dGPU

Looking for advice on choosing a gaming PC for my husband as a birthday gift

For about $200, MicroCenter will assemble your pc for you, but I recommend you buy the parts now and then assemble the pc with your husband as a couples project for his birthday. I think you’ll both have fun and it will make you both much more comfortable working on the pc later on. I chose this Mic

Where to put an extra 250$

There's very little context here. For a gaming PC I'd typically recommend putting it towards the GPU. If you have an old GPU, I'd consider selling it and slapping $250 on the proceeds. 16GB RAM suggests it's not particularly high end. An additional $250 is excessive for either RAM or SSD. Thus if no

streaming/recording pc (if such a thing exists)

CPU: For your use cases, you want a multi-core CPU with a high clock speed. Also, from what I’ve read, it’s best to avoid CPUs with both performance and efficiency cores (i.e. Intel CPUs) for audio processing, because sometimes Windows will incorrectly assign a high priority task to one of the lower

New Build Request $7-8k

This is what an $8k budget will get you. I used this MicroCenter bundle for the CPU, mb, and memory. I also took advantage of their 64GB memory upgrade for an additional $400. Just for these three components, this saves you nearly $500, compared to buying the same parts individually online. I also c

PC Build Suggestions

T710. Smaller sequential performance but has a MUCH better sustained performance in which 9100 pro falls behind. Interpret it like this 9100 pro -> faster at filling 1/3 of the SSD by Crucial T710 -> MUCH better sustained performance which makes it faster in filling the whole SSD
