Is this worth 450$?

I paid $350 a month ago for my dell precision 7750 i9-10th gen, 32GB of ram, 512GB ssd, and rtx3000 and I got a good deal. Yours is a screaming deal. I wish i had that screen

Any UK users help with my son please?

I'd suggest looking for (certified) refurbished laptops on ebay or similar websites. You can get good value laptops there that will meet your requirements and won't end up filling the landfills instead. I got my Dell Precision 7540 on ebay for $400 give or take and it runs Solidworks way smoother th

Laptop suggestions?

I’ve been using Dell Precision laptops for years. I’m always working in various places each day. I get them refurbished. My current one was visibly flawless on arrival. I think I paid $650 for I believe a two year old model. It’s a Precision 7750 nicely optioned and with a webcam too. My last one (a

Computer Recommendations

I've always just purchased Dell Precision machines. I'm sure other brands perform just as well; but it ain't broke for me so I ain't gonna fix it. My current machine (personal GIS use, also no heavy duty analysis, but some memory-intensive scripts) is a Precision 7750 (17"), Xeon W-10855M @ 2.8GHz,

What desktop from Best Buy would you recommend for SolidWorks?

I bought a Dell Precision 7750 laptop this year. It has a certified GPU. I’ve used them for almost a decade. My last one is still mostly ok but I wanted a bigger screen. It’s refurbished but it was impossible to see any defects. I got it from some place on Amazon that lives this stuff. With plenty o

Need help with upgrading RAM on my Precision 7760 laptop

I'm curious what price range you're hoping to get one for and for what specs. I bought a 7760 on ebay about a month ago that was all but maxed out (i9, 64gb ram, rtx a5000 16gb gpu, 2tb ssd) with significant but inconsequential cosmetic damage for about $1000. That was nearly half what other sellers

If I want to add more RAM to a Dell precision 7760, will any 3200 MHz RAM work? Prices have gone up a lot since last week so trying to see if I can save money by finding one with less ram that I could just add

Gotcha. Honestly tough to say what to do, since you're already so focused on a specific model. I doubt the Lenovo equivalent to this machine will be priced much better. ZBook Fury from HP is... also gonna be in the same range. I was reading a post from someone earlier saying they were looking at one

Laptop issue

I mentioned this in another thread, but it might be the right option for you: There’s tons of second hand refurbished Dell Precision models on eBay and elsewhere that would be a major upgrade over this machine for under $300. You could get yourself into a Precision 7540 with an i7 9750 and 16gb of R
