I feel like I missed out on the Golden Age of IT work

Go back to L1 support if you want raw troubleshooting. I've got a bunch of Dell Pro 14 laptops with mysterious web cam failures you're welcome to delve into as neither Dell nor our sales rep will take any ownership of the obviously faulty hardware. Also, word of unsolicited advise - You should proba

Apple made External Monitors worse, then sold us retina displays

Somewhat tangentially, I am shocked that low res displays have lasted in the Windows world for so long. It’s inexcusable to me that certain Pro laptops with premium price points essentially come with FHD res screens which are at least a decade past their use by date. Just as bad as the resolution is

Can someone explain why 2k$+ laptop feels like a cheap plastic toy?

heavily depends on model. I like my Dell Pro Max 16 Premium in terms of build quality. The other dell I use (Dell Pro 14 Plus) gets. 6/10 for build quality from me but at least it is silent.

New Dell XPS Palm Rest is made of glass

I definitely wouldn't recommend XPS for the field. We have some Dell Pro 14 and Dell 14 Pro Plus and the build quality just isn't great. We are looking at a purchase of close to 40 Pro Plus 2in1 and have an open quote, but the build quality just makes it hard to justify the cost.

New Dell XPS Palm Rest is made of glass

I really like the trackpad on my XPS 14. It’s got a very premium feel compared to my corporate issued Dell Pro 14.

Latitude 7420, 7310 and 5330. Which one?

Stay away from 2 in 1, you will be sorry. They are fragile and damage quite easily. They are not suited for your intended usage. I don't like touch screens. They are great for tablets and POS. Otherwise you end up with a screen with fingerprints. Invariably you wind up casually touching the screen a

Pro 14 Premium PA14260 vs XPS 14 (2026) DA14260

Unfortunately, I had to turn to AI on this one. But CoPilot explained the differences pretty well for me: Why Dell Charges Over $1000 More for the Pro 14 Premium Even though the XPS 14 is objectively superior in performance, display, battery life, and build, Dell prices the Pro 14 Premium higher due

Does Anyone have Experience of Dell Pro 14 Plus Laptop

Durability is fine. It does feel far more clunky than previous iterations (Dell Latitude 7440 and Dell Latitude 7450). I prefer the form of the previous iterations, Lenovo ThinkPad T14 Gen 6, or the new Dell Pro 14 that looks like the XPS 2026.
