Advice needed

the DROP PC38X is good. Mic quality isn't great, but solid headphones. Open back design so has more natural sound and lightweight design that will survive wear and tear.

Gaming headset?

If you want a headset with a mic I recommend the pc38x from drop. Long story short it is a sennheiser hd560s with a flip mic on the side with a lower impedance requirement and slightly different tuning to make it sound like everything is around you instead of in front (I have both and this is how I

similar, but non-razer headphone recs?

Honestly I've been impressed with the sound and durability of the Drop PC38X. It's open-back, which is specifically what I had been looking for due to the general ventilation effect of open-back headphones. https://drop.com/buy/drop-pc38x-gaming-headset If you're looking for wireless or closed-back,

Replacing my Game Zero's with something modern

Hello, thank you very much for the detailed writeup. I was not aware of the Drop PC38X Sennheiser/EPOS collab, which just looks like a re-release of the PC38X/GameOne/Zero line. I am definetly looking at one of those even tho it's "old". The fact that theres so much aftermarket stuff like cups, cabl

New user, I dont know what Sennheiser headphones to go for, i game for hours, got a big head and wear glasses unsure on wired or wireless or just ones good for gaming.

If you’re coming from A40s and mainly gaming for long hours, I’d recommend the Drop + EPOS / Sennheiser PC38X. It’s usually around $139–$169 and is widely recommended for PC gaming because of its great sound quality, comfort, and durability. The open-back design gives you a wider soundstage, which h

Sennheiser PC38X problems

Did you get any help from Sennheiser? Just wondering, as Sennheiser customer service gets rather mixed reviews. Hoping they didn't just fob you off and tell you to contact Drop. I have had my PC38X (Drop + EPOS) since 2023; no problems with them yet, other than the clamping force, lol. I hope you ca

Recommend me a headset

Most gaming headsets are a terrible value for sound and quality, let alone wireless ones. The only ones I truly think are "good" and wireless are the Audeze Maxwell 2 Wireless, but those are $700. If I had to rank the best wireless gaming headsets: Audeze Maxwell 2 Wireless ($700) beyerdynamic MMX 2

I want to splurge on headphones this christmas so I can listen to Internal Empire on my turntable.

Dude. You’re the one correcting me. This isn’t a deposition. If you are right, great, drop a link proving it and we’ll all know better for it. I have no pride over any of this whatsoever. We’re all just shooting the shit on reddit. Ps. I noticed you downvoted me, gave a snarky response, then immedia

Any recommendations for PS5 under $200?

I swear by the Drop PC38X. I’ve had Audeze and Steel Series and while those are great I think the PC38X is just that much better.
