I need a good webcam
emeet pixy works good if you want something stable without spending too much. i use it and the quality is way better than phone camera, plus you dont have to deal with propping your phone up every time lol

Should i get the elgato facecam pro or the yolocam s3. To work with elgato prompter.
Not sure about the prompter compatibility but if you ever want a backup cam or a second angle I use emeet pixy and it works solid with OBS. Way cheaper option too if overheating keeps being an issue

New to streaming
Posting clips on tiktok or youtube shorts is probably the biggest thing for discovery right now, xbox has a decent clip system so use that. Also if you dont have a facecam people connect way more when they can see you. Emeet pixy is solid and not expensive if you wanna add one

WEBCAM
Most external webcams that follow the standard USB video class (UVC) protocol just work on Linux derivatives like Kali without special drivers, so focus on a reliable model that’s confirmed by other Linux users rather than chasing specs. A solid choice that many people report as stable on Linux for

Hi, I got a question, why is my webcam not working?
Black screen in OBS is usually a source conflict or driver issue. Close other apps using the cam, re-add it as “Video Capture Device,” and double-check privacy permissions in Windows. If you’re upgrading anyway, a stable plug-and-play webcam like EMEET PIXY helps avoid these random OBS detection iss

My battlestation, any suggestions? [WIP]
You’re on the right track wanting better video quality for calls, and for that a consistent USB webcam that works the same on both macOS and Windows matters. Something like the EMEET PIXY gives you a reliable 4K feed with auto-framing that just works in Zoom/Teams without fussing with drivers, so yo

How much does camera stability actually matter in remote interviews?
I’m using an EMEET Pixy at the moment. I mostly switched because my old one was not stable. It’s been more stable during longer calls. Nothing life changing but I do not have to adjust it mid meeting anymore.

I don't think I can start without buying a good camera.
You don’t need to jump straight to a Sony. Something like the emeet pixy is automatic, reliable, and good enough to get you creating without overcomplicating your setup.

Webcam suggestions
for Med VA applications what agencies usually look for is clear, stable video during interviews and training, so a reliable plug-and-play webcam matters more than flashy specs. I’ve used the EMEET PIXY for remote work and the tracking helps keep framing steady during longer calls, which feels more p
