HomeBase 3 (S380) or Pro S1?

Purchased the Pro recently. I’ll never learn my lesson about buying Eufy prior to a product being on the market at least 12 months first. The “migration” process was basically non-existent. It would only migrate one of my 8 cameras on my property. Reached out to Eufy; they took me through the basic

Should I return these or can I fix this?

I have 2 of the WIfi cams. I am shocked how well they work, compared to EUFY, I am getting them almost instant, maybe around 1 second? I just checked, they fired up like in max 2 seconds, EUFY is like 3-4 depending on how many I have on the homebase, currently HB2 has 4 cams, HB3 has 3, they still t

Just dont waste your money on Eufy

I've been through most of them arlo, ring, nest ,reolink, eufy, and ultimately settled on wired is better than wireless, ubiquiti. I have some eufy stuff still up cause I put up their permanent lighting, spotlights , and walkway lights so I use them as a motion sensor, and rarely open the app eufy ap

Security Cams Full Local Privacy

Pretty much Any camera is fine. Set it up however it tells you to set it up, add it to HomeKit, then go into your router and completely block that camera from internet access, so that it can’t reach the internet at all. Then check to see that it is still behaving in HomeKit. Then power-cycle the cam

Any Router supporting 30+ Eufy cameras

I have an Asus 6E mesh and another WiFi 7 mesh. Both tank when multi bridge is turned on. Even if the eufy cams connect to a 5ghz band. Something is terribly wrong with the eufy wireless stack. I get extreme lag - packet loss, low upload/download via Speedtest on all devices etc. The moment I block

Eufy had so much potential. Now I'm done.

i mean there’s always bug problems but the thing reolink offers that eufy doesn’t is the rtsp url. This is a future proof feature. The way i have my reolink setup is via rtsp, i cut out reolink themselves no sd card in the camera and no reolink hub still 24/7 recording. I host my own frigate and cor

Do wireless security camera systems actually hold up over time?

No. They wear out like all other Wifi IOT tech. IOT tech also sees its fair share of software service conditions changing, which anger the end users. EG: Netgear Orbi randomly introduced a non optional cloud storage payment for the front door cam. This enraged my sister, who had all of her other 4 c

Modifying/Optimizing Homebase 3 from interference/noise

I know this is an old thread, but all of your cameras support multibridge? Only 1 out of 5 of my Eufy cameras connected the HB support it. And I have two other Eufy cams that don't even support the HB. Really considering ditching the HB altogether and relying on local camera storage.

Fed up with Eufy

Ive been using Eufy for quite some years now. They were awesome. Recently moved to a new home and spent around 2k or so on a new S4 + Homebase Pro and locks setup. As of Monday I returned my Eufy equipment and setup Tapo. The only things I've kept are my Eufy locks which seem to work fine. The diffe

How's your EUFY experience?

I have a few TPLink items which cause me some headache. It was their TAPO smart plugs and smart bulb always getting disconnected. I was planning Tapo cams before. That's why I ended up choosing Eufy cams instead. I did not know EUFY at the long run will have problem in every update. The EUFY fancy m
