Top electric grinders on Reddit by positive & negative comments - for entry lvl espresso vs light roast espresso vs multiple brew methods etc. Based on 652 posts in the past year (Mar 2026)

Surprised Eureka isn’t higher. My Eureka Mignon Specialita has easily been the most reliable and stable grinder I’ve owned. I’ve been in the hobby for about 25 years now so I’ve had several in that time. A single piece of data I know but the design and operation is remarkably consistent and dependab

I cannot for the life of me decide on a grinder !! [$500]

The eureka mignon specialita is my daily driver and I've had it for over 2 years and it's never let me down. A hair over your budget but probably worth it.

Do I take the deal? [$1,000]

As a one time investment, I'd recommend going for a separate machine and grinder rather than a built-in. Great options that will last you a lifetime with proper care and maintenance include; Grinders DF54 / DF64 Lagom Casa Eureka Mignon Specialita / Eureka Mignon Zero / Mignon Zero 65AP Timemore scu

Recommendations for Grinder (and perhaps espresso machine) [£1000]

A Flair58 and an eureka flat burr grinder will give you a wide range to work with and potential for awesome espresso of several types. I used a flair58+v2 stock and then added bookoo EM/scales when I got an itch, I used the eureka mignon specialita and modded it to be a zero retention single dose gr

Grinder recommendations needed [$300-$350] I’m open to hand grinders or auto

I love my Eureka. I’ve got the Eureka Mignon Specialita and it perfect for me. I don’t want a single dosing grinder and this has been perfect for a few years now. There are deals on Eureka’s from time to time so I think you’ll be able to find one in your price range easily.

Looking for a new grinder, maybe more [budget flexible]

Would go grinder first if you're happy with the performance of the Breville. Save yourself some money and replace it when it fully breaks. Since you drink mostly americanos I wouldn't go over the top with a grinder. Probably something with a hopper for an easy workflow. Eureka Mignon Specialita shou

Need Help Choosing Coffee Machine☕️☕️

I went for the Breville Dual Boiler and Eureka Mignon Specialita. Had both for 5 years now and had no issues. If you enjoy milk in your coffee and will be making more than one coffee at a time. Then a duel boiler allows for greater throughput

Light Roast Capable Grinder [$400]

A lot of people like the Baratza Sette, and though I've never used one I used a Vario for a lot of years. The Eureka line, though, is great. In addition to producing great coffee it's bulletproof, the build quality is very high, and it takes up very little counter space. If you can swing it, the Mig

Varia VS4 versus VS6

Hahaha well... I got the varia vs4 finally and mine was faulty so I had to wait another few week after that week of waiting when returning to get a working one. I've just started using the VS4, And I'm enjoying it a lot! Fantastic grind consistency. Although it wobbles a little bit which is slightly

Eureka mignon specialita/dolce vita [375€] or df64+accessories 57mm

Eureka. Hands down. No question. Streets ahead of the DF grinders. Eurekas are : Much better built. Much better quality control. Will last much longer. Built like tanks. Great for all roasts and shine in medium & dark roasts. Can also do light roasts Have only just heard of the dolce vita just now -
