The IBKR App works on my Smart Mobile Data and PLDT Home Fiber. The web is blocked by PLDT, but can be accessed by a simple DNS Change. Tried both ExpressVPN and ProtonVPN, both work naman web and app.

Unfortunately not all VPNs play nicely with AI tools. I switched to ExpressVPN after having problems with another provider and Perplexity works normally now. Also nice that ExpressVPN has split tunneling if you need it.

Most big VPNs killed physical India servers because of the data laws, so you’ll mostly get virtual India locations now. For fast and stable ones, NordVPN, Surfshark, and ExpressVPN are usually the most reliable. Just test them during the money-back window since speeds depend on where you are.

ExpressVPN works well and even has a gui tool now. I’ve used it for years without major issues.

I ran into similar issues with other VPNs but ExpressVPN has been solid for me with Perplexity. Research mode and model selection still work fine as long as I stick to US or UK servers. Might be worth trying before giving up on VPNs altogether.

ExpressVPN works for me. Downloaded the 7plus app onto my smart tv after changing my location on the vpn and it’s perfect quality. Stream quality is hit and miss on my phone through a browser
