I managed to score a review of the WPM Primus. Roast me
Looks like a really cool machine. I’m a series 1 pre order customer. This is actually making me think twice, but the fellow at my price point was 2/3rd the price of this machine (without considering shipping to US). The gear pump and direct plumb capability are awesome. I like the form factor overal

ES1 if it came in all White
I wish they would have offered a white version. Everything else I have from fellow is white but my ES1 is black…if I knew how to do this I would. Nice job 👍🏻

Convince me to go manual or semi automatic?
Sounds a lot like my experience with an Aiden. I quite like it even though there are a fair number of people complaining about a fair number of things. I just wish Aiden had all the colors at release as I rather like the green. Though I’m undecided for the ES1 as not buying it from Fellow seems to m

New setup
The decent is my favorite home espresso machine IF you want to prioritize modern and light roast espresso. If you are mostly a medium dark - dark roast person it doesn’t really matter which machine you have after a certain point. Most darker roast espresso performs well with the standard 9bar flat s

Out with the old, in with the new new
No prob, thanks for the comment. There is a plethora of tools in the drawers to keep things tidy. And more cups and brewers than I can display. It’s a little crowded on the shelves, but I dig the color dichotomy. Still awaiting the fellow guided tamper and dosing funnel. Without the latter, it’s a l

CF64 just came in today.
Yes, still really happy with it. Works great. I got it from df64coffee.com when it first came out with the early purchase discount. I ordered the fellow ES1, so I think this will pair well from a design perspective as well.

Opus 2 Best Buy
I got a chance to play around with one of these at a fellow es1 class. let me tell you, for $200, there is nothing on the market even close to it. the stepless adjustment is maybe a touch too firm, but the action is smooth and its the right balance between dialing in to exactly where you want it, bu

Recommend me a machine/grinder [$3000 USD]
Lots of different ways you can go. For a traditional flat pressure shot, no milk drinks, I would go with a Rancilio Silvia and find one with a PID already installed to avoid temp surfing. If you want a little more room for experimentation, Quick Mill Pop Up or Lucca Tempo (same thing) offers flow co

Budget beginner setup: girlfriend doesn’t want a Breville. Now what? [€1000,- ish max]
Flair 58 or Cafelat Robot! Manual espresso is a blast. Alternatively, the Odyssey Argos and Fellow Series 1 machines are a little outside your budget but would look great on your counter.
