What controller would you recommend?
Buying the Xbox controller again would have the advantage of you being already aquainted with the controller, no learning curve. If you'd like something similiar, but less expensive, maybe have a look at the gamesir nova 2 lite, the dpad is amazing and it has hall effect sticks, so you wouldn't need

Finally gave in and got the G7 ZZZ
Nice! (If you want a good dpad the nova 2 lite is the best, I know someone with 250+ controllers and maps all of them in a data base, they rate the nova 2 lite with an s tier dpad)

My mom sent me this and wondering if it’s a good deal. Never seen it before so I thought I’d ask on here
A few things to consider:- Woot is mainly focused on selling stuff that is returned/refurbished that can't be sold on main Amazon site. There's nothing wrong with buying refurbished items, but I'd be just cautions about it and you wont have a warranty most likely.- AOC is a generic brand, not primar

Would you recommend either the Tegenaria Lite or Nova 2 Lite for fighting games?
Nova 2 lite all the way. I love both, but the dpad on the N2L is just way better IMO. I play SF third strike, SF4 and SF6 most of the time with tekken and fatal fury on the side sometimes. It's jus good for them.

Cheap yet reliable.
The Tegenaria Lite(T3L) is a beast for its price. I've owned the Nova Lite, Nova 2 Lite, T3L and all 3 are very good. I only stopped using NL because I wanted back buttons, so went with N2L. Didn't like the dpad so tried T3L which is now my daily driver. T3L performance is also excellent and rivals

Hate the D-pad on the G7 pro, but...
Which is funny because apparently their nova 2 lite has the best dpad. Why don’t they use that one for their controllers

Best Gamesir budget controller?
edit: Tegenaria and N2L/NL all dont have gyro (I replied without taking it into account).I guess Nova HD (aka Nova NS) fits all your requirements (Switch mode, gyro) and is currently on sale on Gamesir site for 16$. But I wouldn't pick it for any other case or recommend it if it were sold for regula

I need help picking out a Gamesir controller (for fighting games)
If that’s the case that you really don’t care about anything else, then obviously get the one that’s the collab with a fighting game champion. Nova 2 Lite. Mechanical disc d-pad, apparently tuned by a world champion in fighting games.

Nova 2 Lite Review: Is This the Best Budget Controller on the Market?
First is definitely the hall effect sticks on the nova 2 lite, which makes it prone to stick drift. Then there are the back buttons, and trigger stops too. Face buttons are less tactile compared to dualsense, but dpad is a lot more clicky. bumpers and triggers are kind of similar tbh. Is there anyth
