Switching from Apple Watch to Garmin — is it really worth it?
Hey everyone, I’ve been thinking about this for months and wanted to hear some real opinions from people who’ve actually made the jump from an Apple Watch to a Garmin (especially the Forerunner or Fenix series).
I currently use an Apple Watch Series 10, and honestly, I’m really happy with it. The G

What is your advice for first timers?
I’m 41M and placed second recently for my second half marathon. Here is my advice: Get the right shoes for your foot. The wrong pair can really hurt. Have a daily runner for comfort and a light weight shoe for speed or days you want to push a bit faster. Clean up your diet and avoid greasy foods and

Is the T-Rex 3 Pro that bad?
I bought TR3pro after 4 Garmins, the last being FR965. There's no prefect sportswatch, but TR3pro is certainly nowhere near what Wired says. Sleep tracking is incredible, at least for me. It is 100% spot on, coming from Garmin was a blast. GPS is absolutely reliable and the rest of the metrics seem

Apple Watch Can Predict Heart Failure Using pVO2 Data with an AI Model
I had been lifelong garmin wearer and (amateur) competitive runner for almost 20 years, but i am in the maintenance phase of life (I still run / race). But for me, my watch is becoming more of a lifestyle watch / heart rate monitoring tool. I would like to have closer analysis of any heart irregular

Garmin for MTB (Everyone's got a different opinion)
I have been tracking with a Fitbit for two years. It's fine. It's a bit below fine. I am ready to upgrade to a Garmin, but of all the different Reddit threads on the topic, everyone is dogmatic about different models. Also, every time I search, I find a new model that I didn't even know existed. So,

Apex 4 (46 MM)
I received the Apex 4 today – bought on Amazon Spain, which has it in stock for next-day delivery, even though Coros Europe gives a two-week waiting time… I had a Nomad before, and a Pace 3 before that. Before the Pace 3 I had a Fenix 7X Solar. The Nomad’s and Apex 4’s MIP screens are both superior

Not that quick to trust this but just want to know from thosw who are more experienced if it is accurate and if its good. Useing the garmin forrunner 55
I just had my Vo2 max test done. The physio doing it for me says Garmins formula is fairly accurate, give or take 3 points. I have a 52 on my watch and my actual came out to be 55. So right in the ballpark of what he was saying. I have a forerunner 965 that ive been using for about 3 years now.

Shifted from an Apple Watch to a FR 965. Any apps I should know about ?
Owning a FR965 since a year. Like you, even I came back from Apple Watch. Unlike Apple , Garmin is a self sufficient, sport watch rather a smart watch. So, if you are planning for some apps, you’ll fall with a great thud. All you need to worry is about good watch faces, probably. So, my suggestion,

The agony of choice
Garmin 965 is not overkill, overkill would be to leave a device you're happy with and switch to another device, which almost certainly means an money loss. I'm very happy with the switch from Garmin to Amazfit, but my needs were different. Amazfit also offers the equivalent of Body Battery (Biocharg
