Forerunner 970: Impressions after a week of use.
A week ago I've finally upgraded from my trusty old launch day Forerunner 955 Solar to a brand-new 970 (mostly for the triathlon training plans and AMOLED screen).
The impressions so far:
- the screen is awesome. I went for Solar edition of 955 hoping that the PowerGlass was upgraded compared to my

Runna w/Garmin
I am so close and on the verge of getting a Garmin Forerunner 970 - but I have always been an Apple user. Currently have an Ultra Watch 2. I don't really use the watch except for workouts and running. I started running seriously in January and I don't see myself slowing down with it for a long time.

Keep the Race 2 Titanium at $600 or Buy a New Forerunner 970 for $630?
I really like the Race 2 but man, the bugs and quirks are real…especially the data discrepancies between the watch and the app. After 9 days, I’m thinking it should go back. It just doesn’t seem like it was ready for prime time and I’m not sure I trust they’ll support it or fix it.
Just as the tit
