Slate AX working on and off, not sure what to do
Unfortunately can vouch for this. If you're here from a web search, get a different router. This is on top of the slate ax requiring 4A in which pretty much no battery pack supports. Other GL iNet travel routers are more versatile. Carrying a back up router is probably a good if you can afford it +

Flint 2/3, what is the max usb tethering speed I could expect? Over 500mbit?
I don’t own a Flint router, but my Slate AX has a USB 3 port that should support up to 5Gbps, and my iPhone 15 Pro Max (USB 3.2, 10Gbps) can barely seem to break 100 Mbps when tethered via USB. Generally it’s around 70 Mbps. Using the same USB 3 cable to tether my iPhone to my MacBook yields speeds

Slate 7 disable private information on the screen?
So I just got mine today (fedex sat on it since Sunday) and I was thinking the same thing! Like, I can see it being nice to say enable/disable the networking details or "enable for 5 minutes" so you can let family/friends/kids/etc. easily connect but I don't want it always available for anyone that
