GL-BE3600 (Slate 7)

Travel router. Just got the GL iNET slate 7. Complete game changer.

Their VPN app includes the excellent AdGuard Private DNS for free. They currently have a great deal if you buy AdGuard Family and AdGuard VPN. For those that haven't checked recently, looks like 4.7.2 is finally out for the Slate 7. This is a 64-bit build, and includes the screen pin lock, as well as the ability to add/remove panes from the display. Also fixes my Wireguard and Tailscale speed issues.

It isn't that difficult to do if you use the right equipment. I highly recommend GL.iNet routers for doing it. Hey da51d. I thought I replied to you, but now I am not seeing it. I apologize for the delay. I run two Slate 7’s. Very good and strong routers. They offer both 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, and the MLO which is supposed to be 6 GHz, but doesn’t actually use the frequency range of 6Ghz.its more like a blended 2.4

GL.iNET routers generally have Tailscale built in that you can route to exit nodes, and let you use Ethernet, Hotspot, or WiFi for WAN. The Slate AX or Slate 7 would be a great choice and very portable routers so you can take them anywhere for the most part

Unironically, if you hate the connector-and-dongle combo as much as I do and still NEED to use Wi-Fi, may I suggest the GL.iNet Slate 7? It's a portable router that can be set up as a Wi-Fi repeater for your network. You can then hard-wire your PC to it, and you can still use it as a router for ever
