Is $699 a fair price for this miniPC? Based on the Specs (i3-N300, 16GB LPDDR4, 4x NVMe Bays, 2.5GbE Port)

$699 i3-300 🤣 You can do much, much better in the $700 range. Look at just about anything in the GMKTec K line, for starters. Picking one at basically random, the NUCBox K12 Ryzen 7 H 255 with 32GB RAM/1TB SSD, Oculink and dual 2.5Gb NIC is currently $649. That will absolutely smoke an i3-300 perfor

Recommend a bare bones DDR5 based MiniPC

I have a gmktec k15 (Core 5 125u) and used spare sodimm 5600 ddr5 & 990 pro I had. Thing is silent and using 15w tdp setting is quite efficient. Since wanting AMD, maybe their K8 plus (8845hs) or k12 (ryzen 7 h 255)? Has multiple tdp limits in bios. And has a quiet 35w mode. Has dual 2.5, etc. Shoul

Gmktec k12 vs k8 plus

Hi, I am from Netherlands here, I ordered my GMKTec K12 from Aliexpress (Local+) shipped from France with FedEx. I didn't pay any customs clearance, also the seller confirmed to me before that I don't have to pay anything extra, I received it in less than a week. Beside that, I find it strange there

GMKtech K12 - some info that might be helpful

The least you could have done is benchmarking your NVME M2 SSD, things like "i don t trust this , i don t feel like" are not Tech argument. Same goes with the RAM, you could have benchmark its performances and then draw some conclusion.btw TSMC is the best processor manufacturer period, i didn t kno

$600 - Best Mini PC for Gaming?

I just bought the GMKTec K12 from Amazon for $499. It will be a great little gaming PC. The model I bought had 32GB RAM/512GB Drive (which there is room to add two additional NVMe drives)

Replacement advice: My Odroid N2 NAS is dying, looking for a budget alternative (EU available)

You could look at the GMKTec K12, these have been selling on AliExpress (local stock, NOT shipped from China) for as low as £169... pretty good for a new 8-core Ryzen h 255, 3 NVMe slots, USB4, and an Oculink port.. and can take 96GB I brought 5 of them...
