I asked a non mini pc subreddit to rate my build and here's the responses I got so far
I purchased a MiniPC for this reason and got a GMKtec K8 plus with 64GB, I saw RAM prices were going up already so wanted to move fast. These were prebuilt and price was still the original price while others companies (non Mini-PC) prices were rising. I purchased at the beginning of December 2025, I

Which one should I get for gaming?
I got the gmktec k8 plus and I'm honestly suprised by how much of a beast the 780M is while being really quiet. With 32 GB and 1 TB it was 590 euros for me. It plays halo infinite at a stable flawless 60 fps, GTA V, RDR2 and PEAK all above 80 fps at not the lowest settings even. CPU and GPU never go

Need Advice Choosing a Mini PC for My Daughter
Id look at the GMKtec K8 Plus Ryzen 7 8845HS. 32GB RAM helps with 20 to 30 tabs, the display outputs cover multi monitor, Radeon 780M is decent for light gaming, and Linux reports look fine. Keep peripherals ready at both houses.

Are mini pcs suitable to run Lightroom for photo editing? If so, what would I be looking at for a purchase?
Unless your specifically looking for Windows a Mac Mini M4 is perfect for running Lightroom. Otherwise I would suggest a mini PC with AMD RDNA Radeon integrated graphics and 32GB of memory for decent results, and OCuLink if you need to take performance to the next level. An Nvidia graphics card with

Mini PC capable of casual gaming ~$500
I had retired my main gaming rig a few years back, but with current time stress levels was looking just to relive some old memories, I picked up gmktec k8 plus, 8845hs, 780m graphics, 32gb ram, 1tb ssd. I quite like it, 1080P is more than adequate in my age range of games, even some kind of newer on

Any known deals coming?
I remember when Black Friday was when the local store sold their dead inventory at or below cost so they could have cash for new inventory for Christmas. Those days are gone. These days the only computer stuff discounted is things nobody wants at the regular price. Bought a GMKtec K8 Plus this weeke

Beelink vs GMKtec | which is better?
GMKtec NucBox M5 seems like a better deal here since it has more RAM and SSD. It has decent reviews on Amazon. I would go for the M5. Whatever you decide, buy it on Amazon so that you have a hassle free return within the 30 day return window. Load test it. If it does not have any issues within the f
