WHY???? Why randomly remove the noise canceling software buttons from the Pixel Buds app????

I have the first gen Pixel Buds Pro and a Pixel 9 Pro. The ANC controls still show in the "app", but they no longer show up in the volume panel. Really, reeeeeeally annoying. This bug has been going on for months.

Skip forward pausing playback after skipping forward using Bluetooth

For the last week or so I've noticed this strange and annoying behaviour. As the subject line says, when I skip forward using some Bluetooth devices, Pocketcasts skips forwards but the playback is paused, requiring me to resume playback.

I say "some" devices because I've observed this with my car h

I am really disappointed in the buds 2 pro.

I was considering the pro buds 2, but had issues with my OG Pixel Buds Pro: the left bud randomly stays connected despite returning the buds to the charging case. Sometimes that same left bud doesn't seat well enough to charge inside the charging case. I had issues with beeping during playback due t

To everyone considering the Pixel Buds Pro - Don't do it

Don't fret, this is not a first impression of the Pixel Buds Pro. I intend to be as honest as I can here and the goal of this post is to highlight my main issues I had with my pair to hopefully save some people some time and money. I love Google phones to death, Pixels and my original Nexus 6P, and

Google just killed one of my Pixel Buds' favorite features.

I have never used "Hey Google" to activate the Google Assistant on my phone because I have too many Google Home devices and didn't want them working over each other; however, I always loved having the hands free "Hey Google" on my Google Pixel Buds Pro (and A-Series, back when I had them) because I

Pixel Buds Pro 2 Double Tap in PocketCasts also pauses podcast. Don't have this issue with other headphones.

Here's my setup:

  • A Pixel 8, running ~latest version of Android
  • Google Pixel Buds Pro 2s, on the latest firmware (release_3.144)
  • The app PocketCasts, Version 7.81
    • Within PocketCasts, under Settings > Headphone controls, "next action" is mapped to "skip forward", which appears to be the defaul

Customer service impressive for me. Setting for switching devices.

I have to keep Bluetooth on my pixel tablet off or it persistently and randomly broadcasts over my pixel buds pro two , they aren't even paired with it anymore and still periodically as I'm wandering around the house with my buds in , paired to my phone .. whatever is running on my tablet ( in hub m

Since this sub is drowning in $400 coupons

All the basics work even noise cancellation and Gemini. But in order to track them you will have to register them with an apple account first and either use iCloud on the Web or another Apple device that has your account. You won't get a battery indicator or be able to change the assignment of the b

P1 + Pixel Buds Pro: BlueCatch mic not working after all troubleshooting (Firmware v1.2.18)

Hello everyone,

Seeking assistance with a problem with my new HiDock P1 and my Google Pixel Buds Pro. When I connect the earbuds via BlueCatch, the P1 consistently uses its built-in microphone for input instead of the one on my earbuds. This issue persists despite extensive troubleshooting, includi

WHY???? Why randomly remove the noise canceling software buttons from the Pixel Buds app????

I use both pixel buds pro 1 & 2 on my 10Fold daily at work and mine do that as well. It's been going on for about 3 months now and it is frustrating. Hopefully Google sees this post
