Hero 11 Black

Have a Hero11 Black. It works great. I've used a GoPro Max for action sports outside the water. I really love that camera, but I've heard it's not so good for underwater shooting.

I'd rather get a pre-owned GoPro. I was gifted a Hero11 Black 4 years ago and still works fine after having it used in extreme conditions.

Yes, I the Action 6 has a few upgrades from the Hero 11: Depth rating of 20m without a case - Perfect for light swimming and snorkeling GoPro footage often looks green underwater, the Action 6 has a sensor that delivers a more natural skin tone underwater. Better heat management - My GoPros get hot.

I own the Hero 11. Generally happy with it, particularly that I can use my mobile for a preview and to switch it on and off. Have also been skydiving and BASE jumping the older models (GoPro 4 or 5, I think) and they always performed well. The are pretty robust and also survived the odd mild collisi

Depends on what you want to film and the conditions. Personally I’d say GoPro 11, 12 or 13. I have the 11 and never upgraded since I’m happy with it and the upgrades haven’t been enough for me to get a 12/13. I have a DJI Action 5 Pro and…..I freaking hate it. The white balance is off and everything
