Wrong 3D Glasses for Cave of Forgotten Dreams
I had the right glasses and still had all those issues. The first 20 minutes of the documentary were filmed on 2 GoPro Hero cameras taped side by side. They later switched to a Silicon Imaging SI-2K rig, which produced the better looking shots. The 3D capture isn’t exactly pristine, but it was 2010.

Is there anything like the gopro pro ILS?
Back Bone from California have been selling modified action cameras with C mounts and sometimes passive Micro 4/3 mounts for some time now. That'd be the most like the new GoPro. The one you found that does 160 fps is probably the Z Cam E2 (or the E2-M4). That has a full Micro 4/3 sensor, unlike the

Is GPRO at $1.11 a massive value disconnect?
Yeah using a similar camera from DJI feels like it’s way ahead of GoPro Hero cameras

Anybody have tips for photographing lightning like this? I did this with much effort but wondering about an easier way
Action cam has a fixed aperture, but I could perhaps slap a ND on there and try longer exposures Only problem is I was away so I had to make a video, my very old GoPro hero 4 would do a time lapse with a series of images, but it seems like newer action cameras don't have it

Is there a decent action camera that doesn't require an app or phone to use?
I think that's only for the low-end GoPros like the Hero 4k and the Lit Hero. Even then, you could probably offload their footage and use third-party editing software to stabilize them, but honestly I find both of those cameras to be underpowered and horribly overpriced. The mainline "Hero Black" Go

Action Camera Recommendations.
I had the exact same question a few months back and got an old gopro hero 8 mounted on the chin. Action cam mounted this way are great for everything in front of you, BUT I noticed that most of the time I wanted to record everything I saw including side and back. So I added a 360 camera (I bought th
