Some family member with 10hr fwh job has developed spine issues and bought the aeron...heaping praises after praises so I had always this chair in the back of my mind... My primary reasons for buying Aeron: it forces you to sit in a more upright posture which rewards your back in long sitting hours

Haworth Fern and Steelcase Leap V2 were my 2nd and 3d choices...they both offer same 12 year warranty as HM. Why I didn't go for them personally? I was also contemplating to buy Haworth Fern... it was also costing half of aeron with same warranty but I had concerns about longterm durability of it's foam over the years + many people said that it's build quality is not as good as HM or steelcase... Going for aeron now...
