Piggybacking on this - I also bought a new Herman Miller Embody (gaming edition). I got one of these at $1400 and an Aeron for $450 fully loaded on facebook marketplace, around 10 years old. I’d pick the aeron even if I had to pay the same for both, it’s simply more comfortable. The “difference” is

Työtuoli suosituksia kalliimmasta päästä
Herman miller embody ollut itsellä 3 vuotta. Tilasin ruotsista ni sai vähä halvemmalla mutta meni toimituksessa kuukausi. Suomessa on aina tarjonta mitä on. Huonoja puolia: Erillinen niskatuki pitää tilata jos haluaa (itselläni ei ole). Amerikkalainen. Hinta on tuhannen yläpuolella ihan sama millä v

Is just me or is Omni actually better than Embody?
I agree. It generally depends though. I think people who choose embody fall into one of 2 categories. People whose bodies genuinely fit better with the embody, and people who feel like they have to choose the embody because of the hype. If your body isn’t particularly unique, you get can away with b

I sit like L
I also sit like L. I purchased a Herman Miller Embody for its big base, and it works but isn't designed for that bad posture. I'm selling it which led me to here. Almost need a big sofa seat instead of a chair with wheels.

Herman Miller Embody/Aeron is not the gold standard for everyone.
Interesting. I also had to stop my weight training after buying the Herman Miller Embody office chair: I’d stay away from the Herman Miller Embody office chair! I bought it and really tried to make it work for about 6 weeks. It’s the worst chair I’ve had in 30 years. I use office chairs 8–10 hours a

Chair?
He’s talking about a nice bit lounging chair. Herman millers are 2-3x the price and ergo, even the embody. It’s not much a lounger and is made to keep you in a specific type of posture. Steelcase, similar case but perhaps a bit more traditionally styled. Haworths are overrated imo. Way overpriced fo

Upgrading chair to Herman Miller - Aeron vs Embody?
Bought two herman miller embody for me and my wife. We went from secret lab chairs. We both disliked the embody, my advice would be to try one before buying, if possible
