Heddphones D1 have a solid build and are pretty good overall. Neutral, clean, not boring. Arya Stealth is also pretty nice, wide, detailed and enjoyable. Build quality is good enough. I've had HD600 for a couple of decades, mostly for mixing, then had the Liric for listening and then got the HE1000S

You may be taking about the JM21. The M21 sounds very neutral and powers my hifiman he1000se planars real well. The m21 uses double dacs and amps and is very transparent. You can read the reviews online.

Fiio M21 - Great For Certain Uses
The M21 can drive my He1000se surprisingly well. I didn't really notice any difference from High Gain to desktop Super High Gain modes though.
