Where do you all get your ffice chairs from?
I have a Humanscale Freedom, which is great if you're on the smaller side. I got it from Office Resale. Refurbished secondhand chairs from office clearances seem to be the best option.

i want a chair for my desk that i can crisscross in
Humanscale Freedom Chair (either task or headrest version) has adjustable arms that drop down to seat level. I don't use them to sit that way, but a great option when I'm sitting and playing guitar. https://www.humanscale.com/products/seating/freedom-task-office-chair

Recommend your chair!
I second the office chair. There's usually a large offering of refurbished chairs in city areas. I'll dump a list of options, i hope you find something to your liking. Steelcase (e.g., Leap, Gesture) Vitra Ahrend Herman Miller (Aeron, Embody, Sayl) HÅG (Capisco, Creed) Humanscale (Freedom, Diffrient

Short people of Reddit (5’0”–5’4”) — which chair worked best for you?
for 5'0" to 5'4", seat depth is everything. the aeron size a works if you're on the lower end, but the hard frame can hit the back of your knees. i've seen more short folks land on the steelcase amia because the seat depth adjusts shorter and the back is less aggressive. the leap v2's lumbar can sit

Sys admins who are still remote.
Refurbished Humanscale Freedom from an office resale company. I like how the backrest and headrest adjust to stay in the right orientation as you lean back in the chair. Don’t get the upgraded gel armrests though, they’re no more comfortable and mine tore within months.

What's everyone's favorite gaming chair?
I got a refurbished Humanscale Freedom Task chair, without the headrest, and it actually fits me pretty well with some adjustment. I'm a little shorter than you and also often don't have much luck with ergonomic chairs. A lot of high backed ones wreck my neck. I had a secret lab chair before this, a

How much was your mattress
I went for a Humanscale Freedom (the version with a headrest) as I found it better supported my body shape/size than the options they had from the other brands (mainly Herman Miller). The key is to actually try a variety of chairs to see what works best for you in terms of fit and adjustment. The Fr

Can people give advice on home office chair available in UK?
Am sure any of them would be fine for your needs. Or the ikea chairs that some folks rave about. My suggestion is there are very good reasons why people recommend the big names, so if your concerned by other peoples butt juice, up your budget by £100 and get a recovered Humanscale freedom in the col
