I heard the opposite. Cloud 2 being more bassy and Cloud 3 S being more the neutral "audiophile" frequency. If you haven't, recommend to firmware update via NGENUITY non-beta and set EQ there. Honestly everything about setting up these headsets is so wonky. I’m using the hyperx cloud III S, so at least I get to use a good EQ on ps5. Can’t imagine getting a headset and finding out you can’t even modify it (even though it’s advertised you can).
